GanttFather release v0.26.0
The GanttFather workspace after this release, with dependencies and the critical path visible.

New

  • Azure sync at a glance. A dedicated Gantt shortcut shows your last sync, changes ready to send, and new Azure items ready to bring in.
  • A clearer Azure setup. Helpful explanations now show what each source, team, backlog level, field, and status choice means—and which items will sync.

Improved

  • Cleaner sync reviews. Empty reviews stay compact, active reviews are easier to scan, and parent date rules are explained once instead of appearing as a long exclusion list.
  • Smarter sync checks. Reopening the Azure shortcut reuses a check already in progress, with clear separate updates for sending and bringing work in.
  • Easier change review. Full before-and-after values now wrap in the details view instead of being cut off.
  • More consistent settings. Transfer controls, switches, color options, and status rows now align correctly. New statuses briefly highlight so they are easy to find.
  • Clearer required choices. Required Azure date fields can no longer be left empty, field lists are easier to read, and the status step explains what happens next.

Bug Fixes

  • Pulled work appears immediately. New Azure items now show in the Gantt as soon as the pull finishes.
  • Parent and leaf dates stay accurate. Items without children keep their own dates. After children are added, the parent updates from the earliest child start and latest child end.
  • Field selection feels smoother. Wider lists and full-row highlighting make Azure fields easier to browse and choose.
