Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you ("you", "user") and GanttFather ("we", "us", "our") and govern your access to and use of ganttfather.com (the "Website"), app.ganttfather.com (the "Service"), the MCP agent interface, and any related APIs, software, and documentation.
By creating an account, signing in, or using the Website or Service, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. Your account
- You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials (email, password, Google session, and agent tokens).
- You must notify us immediately at [email protected] of any unauthorized use or security incident.
- You are responsible for all activity under your account, including activity by collaborators you invite and AI agents you authorize via MCP tokens.
- One human per account. Shared logins are prohibited; invite collaborators instead.
3. Plans, slots and pricing
Access to the Service is organized in project slots. Each slot lets a verified user own one project and collaborate on one additional project owned by someone else. The Free tier includes one slot per verified user at no cost. Additional slots can be purchased as monthly, 6-month (with a discount) or annual (with a larger discount) subscriptions processed through our payment provider; each paid slot grants the same one-owned-plus-one-collaboration allowance and may be canceled independently via the billing portal. Users may earn up to one lifetime bonus slot through the referral program by inviting verified users who complete the qualifying criteria shown in the in-app Billing & Referrals page.
Enterprise arrangements are offered on custom terms. Prices, slot allowances, discount percentages, referral criteria, and included features may change; material changes will be announced in-app or by email at least 30 days in advance, and continued use after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance. Taxes may apply based on your billing location.
4. Your content
"Your Content" means the projects, tasks, files, comments, and other material you or your collaborators submit to the Service. You retain all rights in Your Content.
You grant GanttFather a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, transmit, display, and process Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service and only to the extent necessary to provide the Service to you and the collaborators you invite. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, subject to standard backup retention described in the Privacy Policy.
You are solely responsible for Your Content. You represent that you own it or have the rights necessary to submit it and that it does not violate these Terms or any law.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to violate any law or third-party right.
- Upload malware, illegal content, or content that infringes intellectual-property rights.
- Attempt to break, probe, or bypass security, rate limits, or access controls.
- Scrape or harvest data, or use the Service to build a competing product.
- Reverse-engineer the Service except where permitted by law.
- Resell or sublicense access to the Service without our written consent.
- Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation.
- Use automated agents (including AI/MCP) without authenticating with a valid agent token scoped to projects you own or are authorized to access.
6. AI agents and the MCP interface
GanttFather exposes a Model Context Protocol (MCP) interface that allows authorized AI agents to act on your behalf. You are responsible for every action an agent performs under your credentials or under an agent token you issue, including destructive actions (deletions, reassignments, schedule changes). Revoke compromised tokens immediately from the project Settings page. GanttFather is not liable for actions taken by AI agents you authorize.
7. Collaborator invitations
When you invite a collaborator you are granting them access to the project according to the role you assign. You represent that you have a legitimate basis to share their email address with us for the purpose of delivering the invitation.
8. Third-party integrations
The Service may integrate with third-party products (Azure DevOps, Google, and others). Your use of those products is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services and we can suspend or remove an integration at any time.
9. Availability and support
We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uptime for the Free plan. The Service is provided on an "as available" basis. Scheduled maintenance, outages of upstream providers, force-majeure events, or other disruptions may cause downtime. Support for the Free plan is best-effort via email.
10. Intellectual property
GanttFather and its licensors own all right, title, and interest in and to the Service, including software, branding, and content created by us. Nothing in these Terms transfers any of those rights to you. The GanttFather name, "The Don of Project Management" slogan, and related marks are our trademarks.
11. Termination
- You may delete your account at any time from the Service or by emailing [email protected].
- We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for material breach of these Terms, abuse, non-payment on paid plans, or if required by law. Where reasonable, we will give notice.
- Upon termination: your right to use the Service ends, your account is deactivated, and Your Content is deleted after standard backup retention.
- Sections 4 (license), 10 (IP), 12 (warranty), 13 (liability), 14 (indemnity), 16 (disputes) survive termination.
12. Disclaimer of warranties
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE AND WEBSITE ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTIES ARISING OUT OF COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS, OR THAT ANY DATA WILL BE SECURE OR NOT LOST OR ALTERED.
13. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GANTTFATHER AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY UNDER THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR (B) USD 100.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or liabilities; the above limitations apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
14. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless GanttFather and its affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of Your Content, your use of the Service, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
15. Changes to the Service and Terms
We may modify the Service at any time. We may update these Terms by posting a new version on the Website and updating the "Last updated" date. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
16. Governing law and disputes
Unless prohibited by mandatory local law, these Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where GanttFather is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that jurisdiction for any dispute that cannot be resolved informally. Nothing in this section limits your rights as a consumer under mandatory local law.
17. Miscellaneous
- Entire agreement: these Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, are the entire agreement between you and GanttFather.
- Severability: if any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
- No waiver: failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
- Assignment: you may not assign these Terms without our written consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
- Notices: we may give notice by email, in-app banner, or a post on the Website.
