GanttFather release v0.25.0
The GanttFather workspace after this release, with dependencies and the critical path visible.

Improved

  • Task creation and deletion feel immediate. Add or remove tasks without waiting for the network; pending changes stay safely visible if a connection is slow.
  • Dependencies now respect working days. When Auto-reschedule moves a task, it skips weekends, project non-working days, and team days off while keeping the task duration intact.
  • A clearer Azure DevOps setup. Paste an Azure project link and GanttFather recognizes its organization and project. Project, saved-query, and board choices are easier to scan and select, with the selected source kept in view.
  • Source mapping stays focused. Query and board selection now share one design; work-item types clearly explain what the source does not return; empty date expansions and the unused category-match action are gone.
  • Redesigned project preferences. Choose whether task bars use their own color or status colors, manage Auto-reschedule and working days, and find project ownership and deletion actions in one place.
  • A dedicated, clearer task-status editor. Statuses are grouped by category with aligned controls, color pickers, and helpful tooltips.
  • A more consistent Settings experience. Project and account settings now use matching outlined cards, spacing, and square weekday controls in both Preferences and Team Calendar.

Bug Fixes

  • Projects with assigned work can now be permanently deleted. GanttFather correctly removes linked work assignments as part of the deletion.
