- Review and publish changes to Azure DevOps. See the exact dates and estimates that will change, leave out any work item you do not want to update, and confirm only the reviewed changes.
- Use the same Azure fields in both directions. Map Start, End, and Estimation for each work item type, including custom process fields, and reuse those mappings for imports and updates.

- Azure syncs include recovery checkpoints. GanttFather checks the latest Azure values before publishing, confirms the saved result afterward, and creates a restorable history checkpoint before every pull or push.
Bug Fixes
- Changed field mappings now take effect on the next pull. Newly selected Azure date fields update Gantt tasks while pending local edits remain protected for review.
- Dates and estimates stay consistent. Story Points and other mapped estimates sync correctly, Azure finish dates remain accurate, and a pull no longer creates false conflicts before a push.
