Features
- Theme picker in Preferences. Settings → Appearance is now Preferences and ships with a theme selector: White for a crisp background, Bone (default) for the new warmer canvas, and Dark for low-light sessions. Your choice is remembered between visits.
- Dark mode (early access). Flip to Dark from Preferences and every view — Gantt, Board, List, modals, settings — changes together. Still fine-tuning contrast in a few corners; feedback welcome.
- A warmer, quieter canvas across the whole app. Gantt, Board, List, sidebar, settings and every dialog now share one soft off-white surface. Grid lines, row dividers and card edges were harmonised so the views no longer look stitched from different parts — your data sits on a single, calm backdrop.
- New brand typography. Plus Jakarta Sans drives the everyday UI and Sora handles display headings — a cleaner, more distinctive feel while keeping everything easy to scan.
- Profile and Account are now one page. Your identity, email verification, account details, sign out and account deletion all live together under Settings → Account. One fewer tab to hunt through.
- Your language is picked automatically. On your first visit GanttFather now follows your browser language, falling back to English when your locale isn’t supported. You can still override it from Settings → Preferences.
- Portuguese (Brasil) joins the lineup. Pick “Português” from the language switcher and the whole app — menus, task fields, tooltips, onboarding, billing, release notes — switches to Brazilian Portuguese. Dates, weekdays and month names follow along. Welcome, pessoal. 🇧🇷
- Billing leads with the plans. Paid plans now sit right under your current slots, with the referral path moved below so the upgrade options aren’t buried.
- Share dialog points teammates to the right place. Public share links are read-only by design. A new hint inside the dialog nudges you to the Team tab when you actually want to invite editors or commenters.
- A cleaner project header. The language picker left the topbar (browser detection covers it), the Share button shrank to a single icon, and “Report a bug” moved to the sidebar so you can reach it from anywhere — not just inside a project.
- Tidier Gantt toolbar. Expand, Collapse and Create new task now live next to the task table headers and collapse with the table when you hide it. The top toolbar keeps Excel, Critical Path and Zoom only.
- Collapsed sidebar stays tidy. When the sidebar is collapsed, the footer icons (What’s new, Report a Bug, Settings) now align cleanly inside the sidebar edge instead of nudging past it.
Bug Fixes
- Screen-reader labels now respect your chosen language. A handful of buttons in the Gantt chart and the sync indicator still spoke Spanish or English regardless of your language setting — they now match the rest of the interface.
