Features
- Project preferences are now easier to find. Project Settings starts with display preferences, and the new section index lets you jump straight to Preferences, Azure DevOps, MCP agents, ownership transfer, support, or project deletion.
- Choose how task bars get their color. Keep manual per-task colors, or switch the project to Auto so bars match each task’s status. Auto mode soft-ignores manual colors instead of deleting them, so switching back to Manual brings your previous colors right back.
- A small preview shows the color mode before you commit. The Preferences section now shows Manual and Auto side by side, making the difference clear without leaving Settings.
- Global settings are one click away. Project Settings now links directly to your GanttFather account settings for profile, billing, and app-wide preferences.
Bug Fixes
- Google profile photos now show on assignee chips. Avatars from Google no longer fall back to initials because of cross-origin image caching.
- Owners stay owners after profile updates. Updating a teammate’s avatar or initials no longer makes the app temporarily treat the project owner as a guest.
- Project names are validated consistently. Creating or renaming a project now accepts common business punctuation, supports longer names up to 100 characters, and blocks unsafe characters in both entry points.
- Public share links respect project color preferences. Spectator views now use the same Manual or Auto task bar color mode as the project itself.
- Dates now stay aligned with your selected language and calendar day. Account, billing, release note, and website dates no longer drift to the device locale or shift back a day around UTC boundaries.
