- Minimalist UI/UX across Settings. Profile, Project Settings, Billing, Privacy and Release Notes now share one quiet layout — cleaner sidebar, restrained typography, less visual noise. Everything where you expect it, nothing that isn’t needed.
- Slot-based plans are here. Every account starts with 2 free slots — run 2 projects of your own and collaborate on 2 more. No card, no trial clock, four projects in your world from day one.
- Grow your pool by inviting friends. Bring in 3 people who verify their email and we add a permanent bonus slot to your account. One per referrer, one per lifetime — yours to keep even if you never pay.
- Buy extra slots when you need more territory. Each paid slot adds one project you own plus one more collaboration seat. Stack as many as the job requires.
- Every paid slot is its own subscription. You can cancel any of them without touching the others.
- No feature is ever paywalled. Gantt timeline, critical path, Excel import, real-time collaboration — all of it works the same whether you pay or not. Slots only decide how many projects you juggle at once.
- Secure checkout and self-serve subscription management. Payment is handled end-to-end through a PCI-compliant processor — we never see or store your card details. From Settings → Billing you can add slots, update your card, download invoices, change plan or cancel at any time.
- Refund window CTA. If you’re still inside the refund eligibility window after a purchase, a clear “Request refund” action appears in Billing so you can undo the charge without contacting support.
- Grandfathered access for long-time users. If you already had more projects than your slot pool currently allows, they stay fully active — no action required. The extra allowance shows up automatically in your Billing overview.
- Privacy, Terms and Cookies now open the canonical page. The short summaries inside the app have been replaced with direct links to the full, always-up-to-date policies on ganttfather.com — one source of truth instead of two copies to keep in sync.
Bug Fixes
- Cookie preferences now persist across the website and the app. Accepting or rejecting cookies on ganttfather.com is remembered when you move to app.ganttfather.com (and vice versa), so you no longer see the banner twice.
- Pricing copy on the website matches what you see in the app. The landing page now shows the same slot model as Settings → Billing, removing the mismatch some visitors reported.
- Billing page copy tightened. Redundant plan descriptions were removed from the rationale section so the slot picker is the single place where choices are made.
