# More precise live cursors

## Improved

- **Stay attached to the right content.** Live cursors stay tied to the right task, date, or field as collaborators use different panel widths, scroll positions, sidebar states, and Gantt time modes.

- **Keep stationary pointers current.** Cursor positions refresh after scrolling or resizing even when the mouse stays still, so the shared pointer reflects what is now under that pointer.

- **Move smoothly between nearby content.** When a collaborator moves between different panes or content, the cursor makes a short transition instead of sweeping through unrelated areas.

- **Make pointers and names easier to read.** Sharper pointers, profile photos or initials, and readable labels stay clear near panel edges and in tight spaces.

## Bug Fixes

- **Handle unavailable locations calmly.** When a shared location is not available in your view, presence shows a neutral unavailable indicator instead of pointing at unrelated content.

- **Keep the latest position.** Live cursors settle on the most recent confirmed location when a target is still being checked, so an older position does not reappear.
